2. Dormitory Details

※ Selection will not be possible if you apply for a dormitory or room type that is not eligible for selection.

※ Roommate requests are not allowed.

3. Eligiblity(ALL)

• - Enrolled undergraduate or general graduate students(excluding professional graduate schools) at Yonsei University, Sinchon Campus for the Fall 2025 semester
• - Minimum GPA requirement: 1.7/4.3 for undergraduates, 2.0/4.3 for graduate students

※ Students who were forcibly evicted from dormitories by campus order are not eligible.

4. How to Apply

1) Application Period: July 8 10:00 – July 10 17:00

2) Application Method: 

• Yonsei Portal → Academic Info System → Dormitory (Sinchon) → APPLICATION → Choose “2025‑2 Semester Sinchon Campus New Application (Muak, Ujŏngwon, Pŏphyŏn)”  → Fill form → Submit 
• * PC only (no mobile). 
• ** Final submission is required. You must click [Submit] to complete the application.

⚠️ Notes:

• - You cannot apply simultaneously to Sinchon and International Campus(Either Sinchon or International Campus, Not BOTH)
• - Choosing an ineligible dormitory leads to automatic disqualification.
• - Students transitioning from undergrad to graduate must apply with their graduate student ID (admission number).
• - GKS students transitioning from language program to degree program must apply with their degree program ID (admission number).
• - Students with dual majors between Sinchon and Mirae Campus or Fall 2025 freshmen must apply during a separate period: Aug. 5 (Tue) ~ Aug. 7 (Thu), 2025.
• - Selected students may extend their stay through the winter session via an extension application at the end of the semester.

5. Selection Method: by computerized lottery(Room type cannot be changed post-selection)

6. Result Announcement & Fee Payment 

1) Period: July 17 10:00 – July 18 23:00

2) How to Check the result 

• Yonsei Portal → Academic Information System → Dormitory (Sinchon) →  Application Status

• ※ If your status remains at Step 3 (Document Review) or Step 4 (Not Selected) during the result period, you were not selected.

• 3) Virtual Bank Account Info:
• Yonsei Portal →Academic Information System → Dormitory (Sinchon) → Payment Receipt menu (Available from July 17 (Thu) 10:00 for accepted students only)
• ** Installment or credit-card payments not accepted. 
• ** Non-payment = Cancellation

7. Room Assignment Check

1) Date: August 22 (Fri), 2025, from 10:00

2) How to Check: 

Yonsei Portal →Academic Information System  → Dormitory (Sinchon) →  Dorm Status (입사정보)

8. Move-In Documents (**Submission required for admission)

• One copy of chest X-ray tuberculosis test result (issued within 2 months before move-in)
• No documents needed for current summer-break residents.
