Spring 2023, Welcome Party for Full-degree Undergraduate International Students 

Targeting Sophomore and Junior Undergraduate International Students at Sinchon Campus

Targeting Sophomore and Junior Undergraduate International Students at Sinchon Campus, Yonsei University held a Welcome Party for those who are studying for the first time on Sinchon Campus.

The event was held face-to-face on March 22, 2023 at the Global Lounge and JakeLah Hall, The Commons. Hosted by the Global One-Stop Service Center(GOSC) and organized by FSU under the University Innovation Support Project(대학혁신지원사업) to support the seccessful settlement of global talents.

The event was a collaboation between Office of International Affairs, GOSC and Foreign Student Union(FSU).

About 60 undergraduate students from all over the world attended the event, and the program was conducted in English and Korean.

The program included an introduction of the Global One-stop Service Center which was established in Sep, 2022, Yonsei Campus Harmony Supporters, Extracurricular Programs for full-degree international students, and introductions to Foreign Student Union(FSU) and Chinese Students and Scholars Association(CSSA). Following that, FSU provided tips on Sinchon Campus life and living in Korea as international students. In the second part, attendees enjoyed dinner and mingled with other students by nationality and level of their studies.

International students who participated in this event said, "It was a great experience to build new relationships and interact with other international students who might feel lonely in a foreign country." They also expressed satisfcation with the opportunity to form a sense of unity among international students through the offline event.
